CGA's Scott Rusbridge has qualified as a Level 1 Plane Truth Golf instructor. It is an exciting new qualification to add to the Level 3 PGA qualified status he already holds.
Plane Truth Golf is an American based company which gives accredited coaches the opportunity to offer the most comprehensive and organised golf instruction. Scott now uses the "+ and -" Impact System, which helps in understanding a player's impact and ball flight. This helps when choosing which part of the swing to fix to give the most positive effect on the golfers ball flight.
The MyProfile system is an amazing online tool that allows golfers to view their swings from their lessons with Scott, to see a detailed explanation of diagnosed faults within the set-up and swing, and recommends personalised drills, practice planning and goal setting. Please contact Scott on 07966892634 to book a lesson with him.

Over the past 8 weeks there has been free golf coaching for any girl aged 6 -16 at Millers Barn Golf Park with Coastal Golf Academy Professional Scott Rusbridge.
The number of girls attending have been really encouraging with up to 15 girls attending. Trying to encourage girls into golf is an English Golf Union and Golf Foundation initiative and the funding for the sessions has been provided by them.
Essex County girls player Faye Trigg has been lending a hand to help inspire the girls into making golf their hobby or maybe becoming the next golf star. The girls have really shown enthusiasm and have enjoyed learning and playing fun games. The sessions are held on Monday evenings between 5:30pm- 6:30pm, if there are any girls that would like to attend please contact us on (01255) 424261.
A good number of ladies braved the conditions to attend the recent English Golf Union funded taster sessions.
With every golf club trying to attract more woman and girls into golf it was great to see new ladies attend. During the sessions there has been basic tuition from Tom & Scott, but most importantly it has given every lady the opportunity to try golf for many for the first time. Lady members from Frinton have been on hand to offer support and show what the club has to offer to the new golfer. It is hoped that the ladies that attended will be keen to return and start the journey of making golf a really enjoyable hobby. There is one last session still to be held on Saturday March 12th at Frinton. To book a place please ring us on (01255) 424261
