The wonderful Salobre Golf Resort in Gran Caneria hosted our 2nd winter Golf Trip. The group was made up of 18 travellers including Professionals Tom Hide and Scott Rusbridge as well as Scott’s son Freddie. The trip followed the same format of breakfast, range work, 18 holes of golf and then lovely meals in the evenings on four of the days, with a rest day in the middle. Although very relaxed and not highly competitive, Frinton’s Jonathon Clark from Frinton played the best golf of the week winning the 3 day competition. Freddie and Colne Valley’s birthday lady Jackie Skinner won the 4BBB competition on the 1st day. The week flew by with everyone wishing they could stay just that little bit longer. We now look forward to our next trip to Penina in Portugal in mid January.
