This years Passport Opens have got off to a flying start with a record number of juniors competing.
Frinton kicked off with the 1st Open on Saturday 17th April with Millers Barn hosting the 2nd Open on Sunday 25th April
Passport Opens are designed to give juniors who take part in regular Golf Foundation passport classes, the opportunity to put their skills they have learnt into practice and meet new golfing friends.
Twenty Four juniors played at each of the events with the Opens played in a really good spirit. Thanks must go to all of the parents who supported by marking cards for the juniors. There were various length courses set up during the Opens to enable juniors to compete against others on a similar passport level.
During the presentation at Frinton the juniors were handed out their certificates from the previous 6 week course of lessons they had attended.
Frinton will be hosting the final Open on Sunday May 2nd from 2pm, before the next six week course of lessons start on Saturday 8th May and Sunday 9th May.
