Harwich Secondary school and Colchester 6th form college were the recent winners in their respective cup competitions.
The Secondary School Cup is a competition between the six secondary schools in Tendring, played for each school term.
Each school team is made up of students who hold handicaps at their home golf clubs.
Harwich Secondary School won the competition, with Clacton County High finishing runners-up.
During each term, the Secondary School Cup golfers also attend a number of coaching sessions with Coastal Golf Academy professionals Scott Rusbridge and Tom Hide.
The newly-formed College Cup was played for between Colne Golf Academy and Colchester Sixth Form College.
Each college selected three teams of four to play for the trophy and this term's competition was won by the Sixth Form College..
The cup is set to grow with other colleges keen to compete each term.
Prizes were also awarded to the best individual scores from the secondary and college teams.
Louis Freeman, for the Colne Golf Academy, returned the best score of the day with 22 stableford points for nine holes.
Jack Bushell, from the Harwich School, scored the best secondary school score with 19 points.
The next competition will be played at Millers Barn Golf Park on March 30.
